What adventure research tells us and how it applies to your programs: Best of the Adventure Risk Research Symposium

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Since 2019 the Adventure Risk Research Symposium (ARRS) has been held in conjunction with the WRMC, providing a forum for researchers to share and discuss their outdoor risk-specific findings. Topics are wide ranging, from injury data analysis to Covid impacts, organizational safety culture measures to participant engagement, and second victim effects to waiver form effectiveness. This session is the greatest hits from this emerging body of work, highlighting key findings and tying them to what this means to you, your field staff, and your programs. Practical application of research within your own organization will be examined as a means of quality control and managing risk and participant safety. Presented by the ARRS co-founder and co-chair.
